God bless Pastor Murray and his ministry for God. My wife and I have studied with him for over three years and his critics are all liars trying to create confusion, just as their father, the author of confusion would have them do.

Well said. I agree. I listen to pastor Murray and I also listen to a professor that teaches ancient languages, and I find it is a good combanation. We have to remember when the Bible was written, the culture then, how they saw things and how/what language they wrote in.

Pastor Murray is a doctor of religous education in practice. The problem with most doctorates degrees today is they are cheapened to the point where they actually aren’t worth the paper they are printed on. The Chronicle of Higher Education recently released a chilling story that you should know about. The CHI piece is called “The Shadow Scholar” and it’s authored by a paper mill writer under the name of “Ed Dante. For educators, parents, and Christian citizens interested in the general state of American education, this essay is essential reading. Here’s a snippet:

In the past year, I’ve written roughly 5,000 pages of scholarly literature, most on very tight deadlines. But you won’t find my name on a single paper.

The author lists off papers that he has written:

I’ve written toward a master’s degree in cognitive psychology, a Ph.D. in sociology, and a handful of postgraduate credits in international diplomacy.

I have watched and listened to Arnold Murray and his son Dennis Murray, and while I certainly don’t agree with everything they say, they seem to have a firm grasp of the bible and present it in a way most people can easily understand. Their real world knowledge and experience transcend far beyond some piece of paper.

  • I read your entire information from the above link under WEBSITE. The information is consistant with most of what we all have read about Pastor Murray. I am past the point of looking at Arnold Murray for guidance as a student. Yes, he makes a few mistakes but we all do. None of us live without errors and all sin and come short of the Glory of God. Pastor Murray is a man just like most who love and want to serve our Creator. Pastor Murray does things that no one else I have been taught the scriptures from the Word of God; he builds the desire to do what our Heavenly Father wants. This is most important if we are a Christian. God wants our love with communication through prayer and praise, asking all in Jesus Christ name. For those who want salvation the message is clear and what you must do to be saved and the Comforter to come . May God help you in your quest to please Him and be a blessing.
