A Special Valentine for President Obama from Arnold Murray of the Shepard’s Chapel
This morning I woke up realizing a bad habit. I had left the TV on all night as I slept and to boot it was the local FOX channel. What I woke up to was a sermon by a guy named Arnold Murray and I listened in shock to what this “pastor” had to say. For starters, he basically said that anyone who supported Obama’s bailout package were socialists and communists. He then made a point to say people suckered into bad mortgages were to blame entirely for the economic crisis. He continued, “What we need to do is drill, drill, drill!” and that the socialists, in this case alternative energy advocates “with their windmills and solar panels” are weakening the nation and its military to the coming communist onslaught! He then said “the Father” would never allow this socialism IE the economic bailout package to manifest and that every former veteran and every real American would stand up and defeat this notion. I was dumbfounded! I couldn’t believe my ears! And what became even more surreal was what I was able to dig up about this Arnold Murray and his Shepard’s Chapel.
Indeed there isn’t much known about the pastor and he never gives interviews. He claims to have a doctorate in theology though no credible archived record of it exists. I did dig up where he received his ministry license from and then of course his sermon began to suddenly make sense. Back in 1958 this guy got his ministers license from none other then Roy Gillaspie, former pastor of The Church of Jesus Christ which was originally known as White Identity Church of Jesus Christ–Christian and Kenneth Goff, the founder of the Soldiers of the Cross Training Institute. A simple Google brought me to a variety of links, including Nation Master and Wikipedia. The bottom line, these guys were white supremacists with ties to people like former Aryan Nation president, Richard Girnt Butler and Thomas Robb, national director of the Knights of the KKK.
Frankly I don’t like even talking about these groups let alone “advertising” the Shepard’s Chapel. But I believe people need to know about these radicals, who in Arnold Murrays case have been broadcasting the “Word of God” on the airwaves to millions of Americans for more than three decades. Affectionately called “Sarge” by millions of his followers, apparently from the self claim Murray fought as a marine in the Korean War, this guy acts like a good old boy preacher of “the Word.” But what word is he really preaching? The word of God or the word of the KKK? I’m going with the KKK! As the good pastor himself has stated, “Jesus was the first segregationist!” Also Jews, along with those outside of the pastor’s following are considered Kenites or in other words, the child spawn of Satan, which by the way makes me one for writing this article.
One more tidbit: Much of what Pastor Murray is saying about the recovery package is being mirrored in Wall Street and congress.

i watch shepherds chapel every day.. and i never see pastor murray give any opinion without DOCUMENTING it in God’s word. its people that write things on sites like this that crucified Jesus.. why is it so hard for people to see truth? it makes me very sad to see so-called christians trying to SMEAR other fellow christians because they want to be right.. wen really they are BLIND and NAKED.. leading other blind and naked ppl. read the word of GOD . don’t listen to traditions of men, your own mind, or the media you coward

Your “research” must have been limited to reading sites on the Internet critical of Murray. Try watching the program as part of your “research.” Your comment makes no sense, for if he truly was like that, I doubt many would ever listen to him. But then again, people still support president Obama, who definitely is “very angry, hateful, arrogant, and full of revenge.”
I do have a remedy for you: turn the channel if you don’t like him.
Pastor Arnold Murray is truly a scholar and God has blessed this man for teaching his word chapter by chapter and verse by verse where you get to hear what GOD SAYS RATHER THAN MAN. HE IS ONE OF THE FEW WHO TEACHES THE TRUTH. SATAN COMES TO EARTH FIRST CLAIMING TO BE GOD. SORRY! RAPTURE IS NOT IN THE BIBLE. IT IS A TRADITION OF MAN WHICH MAKES VOID THE WORD OF GOD.
I thank God for Dr. Murry. I was a man with no hope and no answers. Now I at least know where to find them both. Gods word.
Les Feldick and Arnold Murray. These are the only two guys in American broadcasting who provide a daily — DAILY — Bible study. They walk you thru the Bible, “chapter-by-chapter; verse-by-verse.” You study a Book of the Bible from front-to-back. These guys know their Greek and Hebrew. They provide historical and societal contexts. The give backstories. They “assist.” You’ll notice the production value of both shows is quite poor; i.e., not “pretty” to view. But this isn’t the concern. These two old duffers want you to know the Bible. They have you cracking open the Bible and finding the Scriptures for yourself. They lay it out on the table for you. The Bible becomes RELEVANT and not the fairytale book from Sunday School. Also: have faith in God that the Holy Spirit will guide you! Yes, I agree Murray will launch into an incidental rant. (Paul was pretty well known for his passion, too.) So what? I just filter it out. Why? Because no kidding: NOBODY else is extensively teaching right of the Bible like these guys. Dig the message, not always the messenger. BTW: discernment is to be developed and exercised, too. Bible-based Pastor/Teachers are few and far between. Bottom line: on a daily basis, Murray is teaching right out of the Bible; walking you thru it. He and Feldick are the only two doing that daily (M-F)right now.
