Look into ‘Conversations With God.’ This is the closest thing to religion there is. I challenge you to do some research of where the ‘word of god’ came from historically. When I did this, I realized that the new testament is just a bunch of people with an opinion about who Jesus was. The old testament, when you truly work through ALL the books, is history of a group of people whom called themselves Israel, and formed a religion. There are some great spititual truths about living a fulfilled life as a human; but believing that things in the bible have never been changed, altered added or given opinion to is being short sighted.
Cannot tear down what God has built up. Bro.Murray speaks the Word as it

I have been studying with Pastor Murray for 3 years now, Yes I am new to the Sheperds Chapel.
I can tell that I love his teaching, He teaches the word like I have never heard it before, When I starting reading the bible along with him I realized I had been lied to by other Pastors in the past.
It is easy to see that Pastor Murray is not lying or making these interpetations falsely. If you can read and understand what you are reading it is not so hard to see he is telling the truth.
I was so angry that I was lied to by these other Pastors, This is people`s soul we are talking about!
Yes, The whole world will whore after the anti christ, Because these Pastors are not telling the truth.
The people wont know the anti christ comes first and they will run to him thinking it is our Savior.
Pastor Murray is very RIGHT about Pastors that I have listened to, They will read a couple of scriptures and then you will hear about their family and what they did on the weekend rather than what the bible really has to say.
The only reason others put Pastor Murray down is they know they are lying to the people. Can anyone answer why they (Pastors) would do this? I want to understand how so called Pastors could lie knowing God is going to start at the pulpit.
Wow! so many people want everything candy coated. Murray may not candy coat everything but that is ok. God gave us all the emotions for a reason and to never use them would not be good. There is a right way and a wrong way to do everything. People don’t use their common sense much especially when it comes to understanding God’s word. How many people really understand that the bible is so many things for us and one of them is an instruction manual to live our lives in this world? What I hear from Pastor Murray makes a lot of sense and I thank God for him. Yes God is good and he is many other things. Lots of naive people out there and with that our world is turning chaotic and for those who rely on God will be just fine no matter what happens. One thing I feel is important for all to realize is, when you tithe to the church, please know the church is the people. So if you know someone who needs that help do you really think God is going to be angry with you if you gave your tithe to them? Not everybody that needs help go to a building where a man of God is preaching. A true man of God will get the tithes he needs without a doubt. How many times have you heard how Jesus went among the bad people to do his work? I see it this away, if a man of God teaches our kids rabbits lay eggs and then hides them is no man of God. Can anyone tell me the treasure Jesus had while he was here? If it wouldn’t be for me giving to who I felt needed it many a persons would not be in as good of shape as they are today and wouldn’t respect God the way they do. I buy lots of my clothes from the Senior Citizen’s garage sale place –they are found in just about every town I know of. Yet, I have more than I need. I think I said enough for now. To end these thoughts I would like to say, We will not understand the bible totally while in this body and that is okay. God don’t want us to know something we can’t handle so maybe people should just relax and stop wanting to know everything. God bless Pastor Murray

I have done research on some of the detractors of Arnold Murray, and many are related to Progressive groups!
Those who still agree with Obama’s agenda aren’t necessarily Commies, they are just STUPID!

As a patriot, Pastor Murray has a RIGHT and DUTY to point out the “Big 0’s” dictatorial takeover!
If a sincere pastor, such as Mr. Murray is not your “Cup O’ Tea”, I suggest you listen to blasphemers such as Jim Wallis or Jeremiah Wright!
I have been watching Arnold Murray for a while, now, and he is not the angry,hateful, arrogant, and vengeful person you accuse him to be. He hates injustice, unfairness, dishonesty,deceitfulness,spite, and half-truths, but then, most people do. He has a passion for God’s word and having people come to know Christ. Sometimes he has a righteous anger, but he is the last of an era of old timers who weren’t afraid to let people know where they stood on any issue. Back then, decent people would agree to disagree, give a subject further consideration, and then air their differences. That is not being vengeful.
In today’s “politically correct” climate, everyone is “afraid to say anything” but instead they make hints and follow any sarcastic tone, like a bunch of teenagers afraid to go against the “in” crowd.
He may not be perfect, but at least he is for real.
I do question his more literal interpretations of Genesis,etc. But the way stories were told in the ancient tradition was to convey an idea with focus on the spiritual. “the Spirit gives life, but the letter of the law, kills.” So whether a Kenite is literal or figurative, doesn’t matter, it’s what their heart and attitude were like. And people can be just like that, today. Or not.
By the way, when Paul didn’t permit the women to speak in church, the word could be construed as “chatter.” He witnessed with Lydia, there were women prophetesses like Anna, leaders like Deborah, Phillip had daughters… Scripture says male or female, slave or free, we are all equal in Christ. We have spiritual gifts as told in Corinthians. We are as priests as said in Hebrews with Christ as our high priest. Terms familiar to that culture and tradition. Context and common sense make this simple.
In fact, our term to christen something, (say, a ship) has the same emphasis as the word Christ. As in annointed. Chosen and set apart for a special purpose. Sanctified. The quality of a relationship is known by it’s intent. No one has it all. Better a wound in truth from a freind, than kisses from an enemy.
JB… ..I assumed the program was watched for the first time, quote: “What I woke up to was a sermon by a guy named Arnold Murray and I listened in shock to what this “pastor” had to say.” I assumed Mr. Shaw had never watched Shepherds Chapel, but after reading again, I see the letter was to well written for a first time listener. Just another blatant attempt to destroy one of God’s annointed.

I am appalled that someone could post such a hateful report of Arnold Murray. You should be ashamed of your self for making such false accusations after watching him for one day. Why not try six months and and see if you learn any thing from God’s Word. You will be judged by the Father for coming against one of HIS annointed. Pastor Murray is not a white supremist or of the KKK. Far from it. If you visit his church or attend a Passover meeting you will find many many races (red, yellow, black and white) in attendance. Always remember that we are ALL one by our Heavenly Father who gave his only begotten son for us. Just play the part GOD ALMIGHTY has given so we can all have a BEAUTIFUL everlasting life.
Maybe you researcher’s should spend a little more time researching God’s word, and not Pastor Murray! That’s why, like it is written, so many will be deceived! Find a local church? People are starving in these churches. Pastor Murray pulls no punches! When he says, “one or two lines of scripture, followed by another half hour of hot air” is just about right, give or take a few minutes.
I was blessed with the spirit as a youth from the first time I cracked open the Bible, then I floundered for 30 years, then God led me to Arnold Murray and I heard the truth for the first time, everything made sense and God never told me not to listen, as he’s done with so many other so called preachers? Arnold Murray speaks the truth, period, he who says otherwise is blind and deaf to the true word of God, God blesses the Shepherds Chapel now and forever, why do you think he’s still on the air after all these years, this is no accident!
Be careful with Arnold Murray. He uses just enough scripture to hook you and then takes it completely out of context. A teacher at our church got into his doctrine and began teaching the children. Needless to say, once parents found out, it was taken care of. He is a radical and is not true to God’s word. Please find a local Bible-believeing church and study the word of God with them. This man is leading many astray.
i watch shepherds chapel every day.. and i never see pastor murray give any opinion without DOCUMENTING it in God’s word. its people that write things on sites like this that crucified Jesus.. why is it so hard for people to see truth? it makes me very sad to see so-called christians trying to SMEAR other fellow christians because they want to be right.. wen really they are BLIND and NAKED.. leading other blind and naked ppl. read the word of GOD . don’t listen to traditions of men, your own mind, or the media you coward

Your “research” must have been limited to reading sites on the Internet critical of Murray. Try watching the program as part of your “research.” Your comment makes no sense, for if he truly was like that, I doubt many would ever listen to him. But then again, people still support president Obama, who definitely is “very angry, hateful, arrogant, and full of revenge.”
I do have a remedy for you: turn the channel if you don’t like him.
Pastor Arnold Murray is truly a scholar and God has blessed this man for teaching his word chapter by chapter and verse by verse where you get to hear what GOD SAYS RATHER THAN MAN. HE IS ONE OF THE FEW WHO TEACHES THE TRUTH. SATAN COMES TO EARTH FIRST CLAIMING TO BE GOD. SORRY! RAPTURE IS NOT IN THE BIBLE. IT IS A TRADITION OF MAN WHICH MAKES VOID THE WORD OF GOD.
I thank God for Dr. Murry. I was a man with no hope and no answers. Now I at least know where to find them both. Gods word.
Les Feldick and Arnold Murray. These are the only two guys in American broadcasting who provide a daily — DAILY — Bible study. They walk you thru the Bible, “chapter-by-chapter; verse-by-verse.” You study a Book of the Bible from front-to-back. These guys know their Greek and Hebrew. They provide historical and societal contexts. The give backstories. They “assist.” You’ll notice the production value of both shows is quite poor; i.e., not “pretty” to view. But this isn’t the concern. These two old duffers want you to know the Bible. They have you cracking open the Bible and finding the Scriptures for yourself. They lay it out on the table for you. The Bible becomes RELEVANT and not the fairytale book from Sunday School. Also: have faith in God that the Holy Spirit will guide you! Yes, I agree Murray will launch into an incidental rant. (Paul was pretty well known for his passion, too.) So what? I just filter it out. Why? Because no kidding: NOBODY else is extensively teaching right of the Bible like these guys. Dig the message, not always the messenger. BTW: discernment is to be developed and exercised, too. Bible-based Pastor/Teachers are few and far between. Bottom line: on a daily basis, Murray is teaching right out of the Bible; walking you thru it. He and Feldick are the only two doing that daily (M-F)right now.
