A Special Valentine for President Obama from Arnold Murray of the Shepard’s Chapel
This morning I woke up realizing a bad habit. I had left the TV on all night as I slept and to boot it was the local FOX channel. What I woke up to was a sermon by a guy named Arnold Murray and I listened in shock to what this “pastor” had to say. For starters, he basically said that anyone who supported Obama’s bailout package were socialists and communists. He then made a point to say people suckered into bad mortgages were to blame entirely for the economic crisis. He continued, “What we need to do is drill, drill, drill!” and that the socialists, in this case alternative energy advocates “with their windmills and solar panels” are weakening the nation and its military to the coming communist onslaught! He then said “the Father” would never allow this socialism IE the economic bailout package to manifest and that every former veteran and every real American would stand up and defeat this notion. I was dumbfounded! I couldn’t believe my ears! And what became even more surreal was what I was able to dig up about this Arnold Murray and his Shepard’s Chapel.
Indeed there isn’t much known about the pastor and he never gives interviews. He claims to have a doctorate in theology though no credible archived record of it exists. I did dig up where he received his ministry license from and then of course his sermon began to suddenly make sense. Back in 1958 this guy got his ministers license from none other then Roy Gillaspie, former pastor of The Church of Jesus Christ which was originally known as White Identity Church of Jesus Christ–Christian and Kenneth Goff, the founder of the Soldiers of the Cross Training Institute. A simple Google brought me to a variety of links, including Nation Master and Wikipedia. The bottom line, these guys were white supremacists with ties to people like former Aryan Nation president, Richard Girnt Butler and Thomas Robb, national director of the Knights of the KKK.
Frankly I don’t like even talking about these groups let alone “advertising” the Shepard’s Chapel. But I believe people need to know about these radicals, who in Arnold Murrays case have been broadcasting the “Word of God” on the airwaves to millions of Americans for more than three decades. Affectionately called “Sarge” by millions of his followers, apparently from the self claim Murray fought as a marine in the Korean War, this guy acts like a good old boy preacher of “the Word.” But what word is he really preaching? The word of God or the word of the KKK? I’m going with the KKK! As the good pastor himself has stated, “Jesus was the first segregationist!” Also Jews, along with those outside of the pastor’s following are considered Kenites or in other words, the child spawn of Satan, which by the way makes me one for writing this article.
One more tidbit: Much of what Pastor Murray is saying about the recovery package is being mirrored in Wall Street and congress.

The Shepard’s Chapel is one of the most successful, if not number one. This is due to a man that has a true gift
of teaching.
The most refreshing part of this fine ministry is that you don;t have a bunch of, SEND ME MONEY IF YOU WANT YOUR PRAYERS ANSWERED, or if we don’t receive your love offering we won’t be hear next week. And the one I seen lately a large sum of money (can’t remember the amount) for a bottle of water, blessed of course by that ministry.
These shows do not teach the word chapter and verse, they may state a scripture or two and then go into something unrelated to the word. Please I do not judge them, this is certainly none of my business but I can discern, and know enough that I need to turn the channel.
Have you ever known something that is true and good, and you know what you know to be true, well this is exactly how I feel watching Brother Murray.
So my brothers and sisters in the lord remember if the SHEPARD’S CHAPEL WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL, you would not have all these self righteous Hippocrates trying so hard to make him look bad, their all jealous with envy which can be an evil in itself. Stay in the word you know why ? sure you do
pastor murray has done me no harm and i will watch him if i please..thank you..yes i live in a free society..free to do and think as i please..god bless
I think Mr. Hohlweg is right. Pastor Murray speaks the truth. As a professor of Wifterology at VT, I have occasion to visit the religion and philosophy depts. at the University. Dr. Hohleg is well known there, and is an authority on the subject. His several works, including “Quoth” and the “Adventures of the Cretin” are textbooks that testify to his qualifications. Print out his comments and post them on the wall. They are the 97 Theses of the epoch!

How far will people go to defame someone? If Pastor Murray teaches the Bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter, then how could someone claim he’s a vicious type of person? With this in mind, it is fairly obvious Pastor Murray understands more about life then any of these lost liberal morons attacking his reputation. He has served our country with great honor, and he’s shown that he’s studied the scriptures more than most people of our time. He’s a great scholar of the Bible, if not the best…If you disagree, please prove otherwise–including teachings from the Hebrew, Greek, and Latin manuscripts.
History has shown us liberals can’t handle having their world being shaken. Enter Pastor Murray here. When Pastor Murray debunks their so called “preachers” teachings, the liberals attack him with a vengeance. I believe it’s time for people to wake up and start doing some of their own homework and stop attacking the patrioteer’s of our country. Pastor Murray has been compared to the KKK. I beg to differ as his church has all different races and nationalities that attend. If you think throwing around false accusations is acceptable, then what does that make you? Pastor Murray also calls a “spade” a “spade” which means, if Obama is a Socialist then he’s a Socialist. Period. It doesn’t matter who declares it. If anybody should be labeled a bigot, it is those liberals that push race and sexual orientation in the name of “diversity“. As everyone knows, “diversity” is the most popular sugar-coated term used by liberals when it comes to Affirmative-Action. Plus, as everyone knows, Affirmative-Action is based on racial preference. Consequently, Affirmative-Action is not only communist but it is also Nazi-like as it gives special preferences to minorities in the education and employment arenas while screwing over the white man in the process. Fairly evil, to say the least. It is these people that are attacking Pastor Murray. If you feel what Pastor Murray teaches is racist or evil, then your basically calling God a hypocrite.
I agree. Most People today don’t/can’t even think for themselves. They follow along with the T.V. news, media. they lable people that do not follow their way of thinking how They say it should be. This is the sad part and it drag’s down the morals and spiritual laws of good, saying that if you don’t agree you are a person aganist the people and government. I do not go to a physical church and i do not follow some teacher or preacher just because it is popular. I have watched Pastor Murray off and on for about 15 years, I might not agree on everything, that’s My choice, He DOES not try to Make anyone believe. People that use the word cult shows that they do not know what a cult is. He does NOT force anyone to do anything, if people don’t like it then turn the channel. People who write these hateful letters are full of hate to some degree. Chapter by Chapter and Verse by Verse is the way it should be, you learn what the Bible say’s, not like Most preacher’s who quote a couple verse’s and take it out of context.
God Bless Pastor Murray.
Strange how a mixed-heritage individual can be labeled a racist. Murray had a Choctaw grandmother.
Contrast Murray’s teaching (the actual teaching, not the twisted internet “critiques”) with the popular notion that the black race came about because “God cursed Canaan, son of Ham, son of Noah.” Talk about racist!
And, that isn’t even an accurate quote - scripture says that NOAH cursed Canaan, not God. Gen 9:29
Sounds a lot like Satan himself, misquoting scripture and leaving essential parts out.
As Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and truth shall make you free”, but if you’ve bought into the lies all along, the truth will likely upset you a bit (or a LOT) before setting you free.
